From the sellers:We have lived here in Scott's Pond for 7 years and have found it to be perfectly central to all amenities. We are a quick drive to all major routes...60, 199, I-64, 143. There is a grocery store a walk away, and that plaza abuts The Prime Outlets (which is a bonus to have at your fingertips as well!). There are plenty of family/kids' amenities nearby as well...WISC (Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex), YMCA, parks/playgrounds, libraries and even Busch Gardens/Water Country USA (which many locals get season's passes for to enjoy from April through October!), and of course, Colonial Williamsburg. There are 2 movie theatres to choose from as well. If you have children who play baseball, they have an awesome Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball program from t-ball up to teens. WISC also is known for it's excellent soccer programs. All of these amenities are literally a hop, skip and jump away!
The street we live on is a cul-de-sac street. There are kids ranging from toddlers to early teens here (and still it is a very quiet neighborhood!). Even being so close to so many amenities and action, we see a lot of wildlife in our backyard...rabbits, deer, and lots of birds.
We have been happy with our school district thus far. Our oldest child has been in it from k-6, our middle child through 3rd grade. This is the last year for James Blair to remain a middle school, as a new one is proposed to be open this fall.
